Planning to travel with your pets? Here’s what you should know.
When traveling with your pet, there may be specific animal health requirements for that destination. Factors to consider may include meeting timelines for obtaining health certificates, vaccinations, blood testing and/or administering deworming/flea treatments. Some health certificates may require an endorsement from the USDA which will require an appointment with the USDA Veterinary Services office in Tumwater, Washington.
Please visit www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/pet-travel for accurate travel requirements and check lists.
