Travel With Your Pet

When traveling with your pet, there may be specific animal health requirements for that destination. Factors to consider may include meeting timelines for obtaining health certificates, vaccinations, blood testing and/or administering deworming/flea treatments. Some health certificates may require an endorsement from the USDA which will require an appointment with the USDA Veterinary Services office in Tumwater, Washington.

Left Behind K-9 Rescue

Left Behind K-9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized for the purpose of saving homeless pets and allowing them a second chance at life through our rescue, transport, foster care, and adoption programs. Their primary objective is to prevent the euthanasia of healthy dogs by working towards rehoming the abandoned, stray, and neglected ones who are in need.

The organization is driven by tireless volunteers and generous supporters, a dedicated group with big hearts. LBK9 partners with Buckley Veterinary Hospital to ensure that every pet that is rescued gets immediate veterinary care. They are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and given any other treatment they need. From the moment they are rescued until the time they are adopted, they are loved and cared for by their foster families.

Compassionate veterinary care for the pets of South King and Pierce Counties since 1978.

Buckley Veterinary Hospital is a small animal veterinary practice conveniently located in Pierce County. Our number one priority is the health and well-being of your pets.
